SHIMOSUWA, Nagano Tsutsugayu shinji, a Shinto ritual whose purpose is to predict the state of society and harvests of the coming year, was held at a shrine in this central Japan town from the evening of Jan. 14 to the early morning of the following day.

Projects under CPEC heading in right direction: Chinese Ambassador
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Ambassador of China to Pakistan Nong Rong says the projects under China Pakistan Economic Corridor are heading in right direction and would continue to progress on expedited pace.
Talking to Secretary Planning and Development Mathar Niaz Rana in Islamabad today (Tuesday), the envoy said CPEC is the flagship project that manifests the longstanding friendship between China and Pakistan.
He said CPEC is a product of vision of two brotherly countries that goes beyond traditional business dealings reflecting decade’s old strong bonds of bilateral cooperation and shared goals with win-win situation for all.
